Charles Daly working with Alliance to promote outdoor sports to families (12/20/2002) A legendary gun manufacturer has joined ranks with
dozens of other outdoor businesses to help the U.S. Sportsmen’s
Alliance Foundation promote family involvement in America’s outdoor
heritage through the Trailblazer Adventure Program. Charles Daly, makers and distributors of fine
shooting arms for over 125 years, has made a commitment to ensure the
future of America’s hunting heritage by supporting the Trailblazer
Adventure Program. The gun manufacturer has committed to donate thirty
20 gauge, semi-automatic shotguns with youth stocks for use in the
program. The Alliance is pleased to recognize the contribution made by
this newest member of the Outdoor Business Council. “Outdoor sports are a huge part of our
heritage,” said Michael Kassnar, Charles Daly President. “Charles
Daly has always supported getting the younger generation involved. The
Trailblazer Adventure Program is a great way to help ensure this
heritage remains alive and we’re delighted to help the U.S.
Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation in this endeavor.” Charles Daly has also agreed to provide the U.S.
Sportsmen’s Alliance with a firearm for the 2003 Protect What’s
Right Conservation Sweepstakes. Sportsmen are reminded that funds raised
through this year’s national sweepstakes will be directly applied to
the Trailblazer Adventure Program and the effort to reverse the trend of
declining participation in outdoor sports. The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance also wishes to
thank the following businesses for their generous contributions to the
Trailblazer Adventure Program: Daisy
for its BB gun donations. Zebco
for a donation of fishing rods and reels. Federal
for its ammunition donation. Cabela’s,
Inc. for its generous financial support. If you would like to join this elite group of contributors, please contact Bill McKinley at 614-888-4868 x 206. CopyrightÓ U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance- www.ussportsmen.org
