PeTA protestors pelted with pints (10/30/2002) Schoolchildren hurled milk cartons at animal rights activists
during an anti-dairy protest in the United Kingdom. A pair of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)
activists who were protesting milk consumption at Aberdeen Grammar
School had to be rescued by two female police officers when teenagers
began a protest of their own. Nearly
100 youth, many carrying banners, shouted “milk for the masses” as
they drenched the protestors with milk during the demonstration. “This is a stupid idea,” said Alan Smith, a 16 year-old student. “We should be encouraged to drink milk and I certainly won’t stop drinking milk just because a man has dressed up as a cow outside my school.” CopyrightÓ U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance- www.ussportsmen.org
